The water polo side of the club is growing from strength to strength every year. This year three separate teams, representing both men and women have competed in the inter-university BUCS League; in the past the Men’s A Team have been crowned BUCS Shield Champions of this competition.

We also actively compete in the national U-polo league, again giving us valuable match-playing experience against other university sides. In term three we also compete in the local Warwickshire ASA League where we give local sides a run for their money!

Many people coming to Warwick have never played water polo before, so don’t let that put you off! It is a fun, exhilarating game where ball skills and team work are just as, if not more important, than swimming strength. If you have never played before then come along and give it a go.

We offer just under five hours of pool time a week as well as two one hour sessions in the gym working to improve strength and speed in the water. As the club is joined with swimming you are also encouraged to attend swimming sessions as well as water polo. These will improve your strength and speed in the water and cost you absolutely nothing extra - how could you lose?!

If you have any questions at all, or want to learn more about the sport then please give us a shout. You can find all our details on the contact section at the top of this page.
