Congratulations on getting a place at Warwick and thanks for your interest in the Swimming and Water Polo Club!

Here at Warwick we cater for all abilities and levels of commitment and as we are essentially two sports in one, if you don't like one you can always try the other! So make sure you join here online, or come to see us at the Sports Fair on the first Tuesday of term in the Sports Centre were our jovial exec will welcome you!

Swimming will be having a taster session on Wednesday week 1 from 15.30 - 17.00 and for those that can’t make it, there is Thursday 18.00 - 19.00. If you can make any of those then just come along to any of our timetabled sessions and introduce yourself to one of the exec or Dan, the coach. For Water Polo the taster session will be Thursday week 1 from 17.00 - 18.00, or feel free to come along to any of the timetabled sessions

Whether you are feeling competitive or not, so long as you like chlorine we have something for you. From those looking for a good time and to keep fit right up to the more competitively minded and national level competitors. Swimming competes in two major competitions and one main team event each season as well as  smaller galas. Water Polo has three teams, two male and one female and compete in a knock out cup as well as a league based championship; all of our teams average a game a week during terms 1 and 2. For more information regarding Swimming and Water Polo please check out their individual pages!

Being such a diverse club, we keep our sense of unity by being one of the biggest and socially active clubs on campus! From regular socials and impromptu gatherings to our two tours a year, one of which is a short visit a UK city, and the other at the end of term 2, a 5 day exploration of some European hub. Past destinations have included Barcelona, Tenerife, Venice, Dublin and Prague. Our regular socials can be anything from visits to restaurants, to a full blown fancy dress escapade, one of which is our infamous kit social ... I’ll leave you to guess the dress code!

With one of the largest membership bases on campus, a wide and varied range of social activities and more chlorine than you could shake a stick at what more would you want from a sports club?! If you have any questions please send us an email or join the 'WUFF' group on Facebook.

At only £5 to join it's definitely something not to be missed!

Feel free to take some time out to look around the web site - we look forward to seeing you soon!
