The WLAS Exec is the committee that runs the society although we encourage all of the members to actively participate of it and enjoy the full experience of studying at Warwick.

  Born in Santiago, Chile. PhD candidate within the Sociology Department.

 

• Daniel Alejandro Valdés Amaro.
  Born in Puebla, Mexico. He is studying PhD in Computer Science.

  Born in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. She is studying Msc in Economics.

WHO CAN JOIN US?

Basically ANYONE, no matter what ethnical background, country of origin or language. Everyone interested in joining WLAS is very welcome, especially those wanting to try a bit of the Latin-American taste.

You don’t necessarily have to belong to a Latin-American country to be a member nor speak Spanish or Portuguese, as you will be aware that our members list is a multinational one.

Anyhow joining the society will help you for sure to feel a bit less homesick and to know more about Latin America and its people.
