WTV is a friendly and approachable society which is always looking for new members. This is an excellent society to get involved in if you are considering a career in the media as we provide the opportunities to learn the skills which are valued in the competitive media industry. 

We are involved in the production of television programmes and have recently produced programmes under the genres of Drama, Factual, Documentary and Comedy.  We also cover live events that occur on campus and in the local area.

WTV offers incredibly broad opportunities; we always need more people to help in all areas of programme making:

1. •Technical (camera, sound, lighting, editing, web designers, graphic designers, engineering, IT, set design)
   

2. •Producing (directing, producing, writing, researching, composing)
   

3. •Presenting (presenting, reporting, acting, narrating)
   

 

If  you are interested in any of these areas we are the society for you. You do not need to have had any prior experience as we run lessons that will teach you everything you’ll need to know to get the most out of this society.
